2011 Custom Home + Remodel Show

Charleston Home + Design magazine would like to thank everyone who came out and participated or visited the Custom Home + Remodel Show this past weekend! Check out the videos and photos below in case you missed the show!

Highlights

• Tour the Architects’ Gallery of Custom Homes, a special exhibit showcasing Charleston’s top architects and their designs. Presented in partnership with Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN) Charleston and Charleston Home + Design Magazine.

• Also, architects from CRAN Charleston will be available all weekend long to speak one-on-one to homeowners in a special display on the main exhibition floor (sponsored by The Audio Warehouse and Southern Lumber & Building Supply). In that same space, CRAN Charleston architects will be presenting "virtual tours" to homeowners of various projects, along with details about the challenges the architects had to overcome to bring the project to fruition.

• Be one of the first 500 people to the show on Saturday, August 27 and receive a FREE HURRICANE KIT valued at over $30 as part of our annual Hurricane Expo. Included in each kit is an Eveready Floating Utility Lantern / Flashlight which retails for $5.99, plus other essential items. Both the Hurricane Expo and Show open at 10am on Saturday.

• Attend “An Evening of Kitchens, Baths + all that Jazz” on Saturday evening, August 27 from 7-10pm. There’ll be free Twisted Wine, beer, and catered food at all vendor booths. Unwind and tour the show in a whole new way...glass of wine in hand while listening to live jazz from Frank Duval Jazz Trio. Tickets are $15 per person and available at the show that evening.

• One lucky homeowner will win a $10,000 backyard makeover complements of DIG Landscaping, Charleston Home + Design Magazine, and other local companies.

• Peruse thousands of custom home products all under one roof!

• If you’re an architect, enjoy a free catered lunch and earn up to 3 H/S/W continuing education credits on Friday, August 26 during the Charleston Architect Symposium.

• Visit the Outdoor Living Experience Tent and walk the meandering pathways to find countless ways to create spectacular outdoor living areas in your own backyard, from outdoor kitchen designs to patio furniture suggestions. Plus get expert advice from top vendors who will be on hand.

Gaillard Auditorium's address is 77 Calhoun Street. Parking in the Alexander Street Parking
garage is recommended. Alexander Street is one way and accessible from Calhoun Street,
and the parking garage sits next to Gaillard Auditorium.
