“It was the details in this project that stand out. The homeowners wanted a simple Asian design and were looking for interesting elements. Furthermore, they really wanted to stand at the sink and look out into the woods of their yard. Typically, you would have a mirror at a bathroom sink, and of course, you need a mirror. As the architect, I solved this by hiding the mirror inside the side cabinet. So, when they needed the mirror they could open the door, but when it was closed, it didn’t interfere with the simple round window facing the woods. Having an architect helped the homeowner by pulling together the details and the functional areas of a bath.”
