At 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, watch Solomon Williams explain how to cook the perfect ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and brisket using simple backyard grills. He'll also share secrets about injecting meat with marinade to keep the meat moist and tasty, seasoning the meat with dry rubs, starting a fire, and using the proper types of wood. Bring your appetite. Solomon will also be serving from his 33-foot rig he takes to BBQ competitions all over the US and Canada.
In addition to Williams' demonstrations, Stephanie Baer of The Perfect Wife Catering in Summerville will be explaining how to create cold tailgating cuisine and giving tips about presenting the food at halftime. Both Carolina Rib King and The Perfect Wife Catering will be selling food throughout the weekend.
